Valley Irrigation, the leader in precision irrigation, will host three field days this summer to offer educational information about center pivot irrigation equipment, variable rate technology, water application technology, and crop management.
The first field day will be July 26 at Taylor Farms near Ames, Neb., and will focus on soybean and corn management. The second, focusing on wastewater management, will be August 26 at Fair Oaks Farms near Fair Oaks, Ind., and the final day, focusing on potato and vegetable management, will be September 9 at CSS Farms near Minden, Neb. Each event will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include lunch and demonstrations.
Every year, Valley hosts hundreds of international visitors interested in touring farms, Valley dealerships, and the Valley Irrigation factory. This year's field day events will turn these visits into world-class educational events.
"These events will allow us to share insight and technology with local growers and groups of international growers in a collaborative environment," said Matt Ondrejko, vice president of global marketing at Valley Irrigation. "As the world continues to get smaller, we can bring the similarities between international and domestic growers into focus. These sessions offer an opportunity to share ideas, build bonds, and create solutions that transcend international borders."
Industry-leading representatives from Valley Irrigation, local universities, and Servi-Tech will present the latest in irrigation equipment, soil and crop management, and variable rate technology. Authorized providers Nelson Irrigation and Senninger Irrigation will present on the latest technologies in water application.
Anyone interested in irrigation is invited to attend. Space is limited; register by July 19 to reserve your spot for the July 26 field day, and one week in advance of the August 26 and September 9 events. For more information or to register, visit ValleyIrrigation.com/FD2013
